We are collecting stories from Black women and girls (under 18 years old must have a parent’s approval) around the world on their hair story to be featured on this website of Black women and girls who wear their natural hair.
Black women/girls transitioning or already transitioned into natural hair to be featured to help others know they are not on their own.
Here are some prompts, and answer what applies to you:
• Black Women Embracing Natural Hair
• As a woman who has experienced hair stigma, I want to share my story so I can help others and contribute to the movement.
• As a Black woman with natural hair, I want to access styling tips and hair care guides, so I can confidently care for my hair.
If we feel your story meets with the criteria for the stories on our site, someone will contact you for a headshot to go with your story. Please then email us an awesome professional headshot featuring your natural hair and put your full name in the subject of your email.
